Let’s Talk This Week’s Geeky TV: ‘The Flash’ Finds Its Legs

Last week on The Flash, Barry finally had his attempts to “fix” the timeline smacked out of him by the Flash from the 1990 TV show. Of course, that was too late to fix some problems, like Caitlin literally becoming cooler than cool, or the fact that Jigsaw is now running around the timeline, restoring the Flashpoint powers and memories, or the fact that Tom Felton has decided to be Draco Malfoy if Draco Malfoy took studied police work under Javert.

This episode, they finally pay off the Jesse Quick plotline they’ve been setting up for a season, which will be a welcome dose of sunshine after a grim two-part season opener. That will be tonight at 8pm EST on the CW. And speaking of grim seasons, Agents Of SHIELD is getting faster and more furious:

They’re finally putting Ghost Rider up against SHIELD, which promises to be interesting for any number of reasons, not the least of which is that, well, he’s a freaking demon who can punch people through walls and send ghosts made by science to Hell. They don’t really have anything that can fight that. Well, aside from May. In the fight between May and Ghost Rider, our money is on the woman who can crack a man’s skull with one punch. We’ll find out tonight at 10pm ET on ABC. Join us, won’t you?
