Back in April, when we first started to glean some plot details from Fuller House, it was revealed that D.J. Tanner was now D.J. Fuller, and that the Mr. Fuller will have met his untimely death prior to the start of the series, leaving the eldest Tanner sibling a widow. (Seriously, how these people keep their lighthearted sense of humor is beyond me.)
The important takeaway here being that her last name is Fuller, not Hale, which was the last name of D.J.’s long-term boyfriend Steve for four seasons of Full House. Well, it looks like Steve is somehow coming back after all, because Scott Weinger, the actor who played Steve, tweeted this photo yesterday from the first Fuller House table read:

Is there anything more romantic than a mom with two kids and another kid on the way tragically losing her husband, but then — in a whimsical and serendipitous twist — finding a second chance at love with a childhood boyfriend? If there is, I can’t think of it. I’m surprised Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan didn’t already make a movie like that in the ’90s.
