Check Out These ‘Game Of Thrones’ Scenes Reimagined As Japanese Woodprints

It’s almost February, which means we’re only two short months away from the first episode of Season 4 of Game of Thrones (check out the Trailer here if you haven’t already). HBO is also presenting a special 15 minute “Foreshadowing special” prior to True Detective.

As we get closer to the season premiere there’s always lots of great fan-tributes that come along, including this one from the ridiculously talented Imgur user Seiji, where scenes from GoT are re-imagined as ancient Ukiyo-e woodblock prints. Some really odd spoilers ahead.

Hodor and Bran Travel North:

Jon Snow Battles Qhorin Halfhand:

Eddard Stark’s Execution:

Daenerys Targaryen, Mother Of Dragons:

The Red Wedding:

There is another one that’s kind of SPOILER-y, but if you’ve already read ahead, click here to check it out. Seiji has a contact email on his page, so feel free to ask him if he’ll design that back tattoo of Danny giving Jorah the Level 98 Friendzone treatment.

Game of Thrones Season 4 premieres April 4th, 2014 on HBO.
