Fashion model Gigi Hadid — who is dating former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and who freaked out last year when she found out she’d be walking in the Victoria Secret Fashion show — has joined much of the rest of the Internet by expressing outrage over the twists and turns of Netflix’s Making a Murderer.

The Netflix docuseries has been a huge topic of conversation on the Internet since Christmas, with viewers seeking out additional information, hoping to confirm or dispel their theories about Steven Avery’s guilt. One thing almost everyone can agree upon, however, is that Making a Murderer revealed problems with the American legal system.

Hadid, who recurs on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and used to date Joe Jonas, agrees with that assessment about America’s system of justice, as she told her 1.2 million followers in a lengthy Twitter rant.

Hadid’s opinion is in line with almost everyone who has seen the documentary and believes — whether Steven Avery is guilty or not — that Brendan Dassey was treated incredibly unfair by a legal system intent on using the intellectually disabled young man to convict Steven Avery.

Hadid, who is best friends with Kendall Jenner, is also ready to provide emotional support to Jenner’s sister, Kim Kardashian, who is in the midst of watching the Netflix documentary.
