HBO Is Bringing The Stoner Web Series ‘High Maintenance’ To Televison

On what has to be the most serendipitous date to do so, HBO has just announced that it’s bringing the popular Vimeo web series High Maintenance to television for six new episodes.

From Variety:

The comedy, created by married couple Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, follows a Brooklyn pot dealer (played by Sinclair) who delivers to clients with neuroses as diverse as the city. The duo directs the project, produced by Janky Clown Productions, and also exec produces with Russell Gregory.

In addition to the six new episodes exclusively on HBO, the first 19 episodes, which originally premiered on Vimeo, will be available later this year on HBO, HBO Now and HBO Go.

The show’s already set up for premium cable as is, so I can only imagine that the quality will maintain throughout. The first episodes are still available to stream here, though language and other oddities make it pretty NSFW.
