American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres this week and Ryan Murphy are making sure everyone is ready for the newest installment of his horror series by giving fans a sneak peek into life under the big top. We’ve seen the NSFW opening credits and we were finally graced with a full-length trailer after weeks of teaser clips and photos, but these latest featurettes are the first look at the people involved in the sideshow act. It’s time to meet the freaks!
The first clip features interviews with the main cast including Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson and Michael Chiklis. The actors explain what it means to be a “freak” and gives some back story on the show including why it was set in the ’50s, all while giving us a few new glimpses of the lesser-known characters of the show. The last two clips feature interviews with the “Extra-Ordinary” artists involved with the show. Both Matt Fraser and Rose Siggins give their own back story on how they came to be on the FX series.
