Jennifer Lawrence And Stephen Colbert Came To A Scary Conclusion On Alien Life

As he is wont to do whenever he has a particularly deep guest to interview, Stephen Colbert decided to ask Jennifer Lawrence some big questions. Before the segment began, Colbert asked if J-Law had any hypothetical fears and before you know it, we’re down a rabbit hole on how aliens would destroy the world if we saw them. I mean, it’s not the craziest theory in the world. When a guy like Stephen Hawking considers alien life to be a reflection of our own colonial past, you start to get a grim picture.

Luckily, this was just the intro. The two ask each other some less frightening questions below, including a brain twisting thought about if we all see the same colors and J-Law’s favorite season, Lobsterfest or Toyotathon. CBS branding at play! Also there’s the discussion about the better superpower: invisibility or flying. Clearly invisibility is better. Flying is a ticket to freezing to death or ending up sucked into a jet engine. Simple answer.
