In all honesty, it’s not Alex’s fault. Jeopardy! is a quiz show that attempts to find the brainiest of the bunch by positing ridiculously hard questions that no one has any business knowing. It’s a rare occurrence, though, when all three geniuses lack the proper IQ to answer the final question correctly while betting the farm on their answer. Or question. I’m confused.
Anyway, Claudia, Mike, and the silver-haired Randy all guessed the wrong answer, and all three failed to write down Little Rock, Ark. Despite none of the contestants understanding the context of the question, they still bet the enormity of their bank, and for their over-egotistical play — Randy didn’t even finish writing down her answer — they got diddly squat. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
Somewhere, in a landfill on the outskirts of Los Angeles, a homeless man is devilishly twisting the ends of Trebek’s discarded mustache. You win again, Trebek.
