Jessica Chastain Can’t Remember Which ‘SNL’ Cast Member She’s Feuding With In The Latest Promo

Jessica Chastain is, by all accounts, a good person. The Molly’s Game star was honored by Variety‘s “Power of Women” event for her work in support of Planned Parenthood; she’s part of the Time’s Up movement to protect women from sexual harassment; and she adopted a three-legged rescue dog, which basically makes her a saint. But the two-time Oscar nominee (Best Supporting Actress for The Help; Best Actress for Zero Dark Thirty) does have enemies.

She just can’t remember who they are.

Chastain hosts this weekend’s SNL (with musical guest Troye Sivan), and in the promo for the episode, we learn that she and Kate McKinnon don’t care for each other. Things get really heated when Chastain brags that she has a “killer Hillary impression” and “Jeff Sessions and Kellyanne,” while McKinnon counters she “can do the lady you play in Molly’s Game.” But before they come to blows, Chastain remembers that she doesn’t have a feud with McKinnon. No, her beef is with Kyle Mooney. She’s been nominated for five Golden Globes, winning once, while he was in Zoolander 2, so yeah, I can see why she’d be jealous.

Assuming the Studio 8H janitorial crew washes the blood from the stage in time, Will Ferrell is scheduled to host next week’s episode.
