John Henson, the son of the late Muppets creator Jim Henson, died on Friday after suffering a major heart attack. In addition to being a shareholder and board member on The Jim Henson Company, Henson was also a puppeteer and craftsman, best known for his work as Sweetums the Ogre in Muppet Treasure Island, It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, and The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz, and various other muppet specials. In the picture above, he’s with his family, dressed as Sweetums.
