Celebrate Jon Stewart’s ‘Daily Show’ Run With This Electronic Remix

Jon Stewart has been the host of The Daily Show since 1999. For reference, that’s the same year that both Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and The Matrix were released, Lance Armstrong won his first Tour de France (sort of) and MySpace launched for the first time. MySpace. He’s been at it for a long time, is what we’re saying.

As his final episode draws near, people from entertainment, politics and more are coming together to wish him well. Among them is Eclectic Method (also known as Jonny Wilson), an electronic music artist known for splicing in works from TV and movies into his songs. He’s taken 16 years worth of Daily Show clips and turned them into about a two-minute tribute to the comedian and the show.

Jon Stewart’s last Daily Show will air August 6. New host Trevor Noah begins his tenure on September 28.
