It is not often that we can say that Saturday Night Live promos are actually very funny. Some are amusing, others are boring, and still others are downright terrible. These promos, however, are flat-out terrific thanks to Taran Killam (who I don’t recall seeing in SNL promos before) and a surprisingly energetic Kerry Washington, who seems like she could be a legitimately great comedic host. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in a comedy role, but she’s got great chemistry with Killam here, who is going to Kill’em on Saturday night. The audience that is. With his comedy.
I’ll see myself out now.
Oh, by the way, if it looks like Kerry Washington has a pregnancy glow, it’s because she does. I can’t wait to see how they work that into Scandal. Olivia Pope is pregnant and … dum dum dadummmm … the President is the baby daddy.
