Who Wants To See Mac From ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ In A 1998 Yoo-Hoo Commercial?

It’s a little-known fact that Rob McElhenney of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia began his acting career at a young age, most famously appearing in that anti-smoking PSA you may have seen. But thanks to Reddit, this 1998 Yoo-hoo commercial has now also surfaced, showing a fresh-faced McElhenney at the center of what appears to be a love triangle with his best friend and his best friend’s girlfriend. Just a subtle reminder that even the most mundane decisions can have a profound effect on your life.

Although Billy was spared heartache by having his girlfriend not dump him because he went with the Yoo-hoo, it doesn’t change the fact that apparently his girlfriend was still screwing around on him with Mac from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. (Although if history is accurate, she may have ended up being pretty disappointed.) A real Lady or the Tiger scenario, for sure.

Bonus points for the appearance of Brian Unger, also known as “The Attorney” from It’s Always Sunny (who we previously mentioned was a one-time Yoo-hoo spokesperson), as the voice of reason in the whole sordid mess. Two It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia cast members for the price of one!
