Grammy-winning singer Michael Bolton is continuing to pursue his burgeoning acting career. After appearing as Captain Jack Sparrow in that SNL digital short, Bolton appeared (as himself) in a recurring role on Two and a Half Men. Now, according to Deadline, the crooner will be starring in a new multi-camera sitcom for ABC called Housesitters.
Being called a “modern-day Three’s Company meets Two Broke Girls,” the series is being written and executive produced by comedy veteran Ricky Blitt. Bolton previously attempted to get a sitcom pilot off the ground in the 2012-13 season with Michael Bolton’s Daughter Is Destroying My Life, but — unfortunately for all people everywhere — the project never made it to air.
