I am not sure where I’ve heard this story before, but last night’s The Tonight Show wasn’t the first time I heard Mike Birbiglia tell it. I may have heard it on This American Life or on YouTube, but it’s a story that never gets old, because Mike Birbiglia (Sleepwalk with Me) is one of the best comedic storytellers around.
In this story, he ends up on a bus with an amazingly beautiful woman, and though another guy on the bus can’t keep himself from staring creepily at the woman, Birbiglia successfully avoids doing so (although, ultimately, ends up doing something even more creepy than staring at her).
