We got a chance to see a peek of this thanks to Sofia Vergara on Jimmy Kimmel Live and due to The Hollywood Reporter’s own tease of their photo session with the cast of Modern Family. Now we get a chance to find out how it all came together in the end and see all of the nice entries for The Hollywood Reporter’s 100 Favorite TV Shows issue. Above you can see how Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson became Walter White and Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad.
The other shows, apart from the already revealed Married With Children, included The Mary Tyler Moore Show with Julie Bowen, Cheers with the Dunphy clan replacing Ted Danson and the Cheers’ regulars, I Dream Of Jeannie, and a Frasier mock up that didn’t have its own video (but does look the part if you check out The Hollywood Reporter).
You can check out the others below and match them up to their original inspirations. Personally, I think Sofia Vergara/ Peg Bundy is the best, followed closely by Breaking Bad and then I Dream of Jeannie. I’m a sucker for the old classic television shows and their extremely silly plotlines.
