‘The Nanny’ Cast Had An Adorable Mini-Reunion Over The Weekend

Such joie de vivre they all have! Fran Drescher may not be the lady in red selling makeup to fancy New York families anymore, but she still has that million watt smile when she’s around her fellow cast members from The Nanny. Three of the original Nanny cast – Renée Taylor, Charles Shaughnessy, and Drescher — got together to celebrate Taylor’s birthday and looked so happy together that it’s crazy to think the show has been over for nearly two decades at this point. There have been a crazy amount of 90s shows getting together lately, between the Buffy/Charmed reunion and the girls night out with the Cruel Intentions cast, so it was just a matter of time before another cast joined in on the fun.

The group was all smiles, and even though Drescher has mostly left her big hair behind her in the 90’s you wouldn’t have to change much for the trio to be camera-ready for another episode. Where would Fran and her family be today? The kids are college aged and beyond at this point, maybe they even have theoretical babies of their own now. In fact … that would make a pretty great remake! If Fuller House can do it, there’s nothing stopping The Nanny. The Nannier? 2 Nanny 2 Nanniest? The Nanny: Escape From Long Island City? Anything is possible.
