Neil Gaiman Will Write Some Episodes For Bryan Fuller’s ‘American Gods’ TV Series

Bryan Fuller took away the Best Network TV series win for Hannibal at this year’s Saturn Awards. While he was in attendance for Thursday’s ceremony, the showrunner of the recently canceled series gave a few details to Collider regarding his new project, American Gods. According to Fuller, the first two scripts for the series have been completed and he confirmed author Neil Gaiman will be on board to write some episodes.

In reference to Hannibal, Fuller was able to give a few teases on what’s to come this season by stating the next four episodes will have some of “the most crazy bonkers stuff” they have ever attempted on the show. While he touches on the 50/50 chance of the series living on elsewhere, he does confirm that — much like previous seasons — the end of this season does act as a series finale of sorts. Also, Richard Armitage’s performance of Francis Dolarhyde is allegedly a force to be reckoned with.

Can. Not. Wait.
