January means new habits, but some are harder to break than others. Take binge-watching, for instance. If one of your resolutions is to watch less TV in 2016, then you need to pack in as many hours as possible until the new year gets here. Luckily, Netflix is the perfect destination for all your binging needs, and you’re going to need lots of time because some gems are leaving the streaming service in January. So, put your Netflix socks on and get to work!

Here’s what you should be watching on Netflix before it’s gone…

There Will Be Blood (1/1)

Paul Thomas Anderson’s masterpiece is concerned with many ideas, chief among them: family, ambition, wealth, and madness. Rich in texture and featuring one of the best performances in contemporary cinema by Daniel Day-Lewis, you should really stop what you’re doing and watch this epic piece of filmmaking before it’s gone from Netflix.

Intervention: Collection (1/14)

What better way to feel vindicated by your life choices than by watching people whose lives are falling apart? Joking aside, Intervention is one of the most riveting reality shows on television. That’s not saying much, but an addict’s struggle to become sober is a fascinating watch, one that is both educational and dramatic. It’s an underdog story packed in less than an hour, with the protagonist facing the strongest villain they’ll ever know: addiction.

Serpico (1/1)

It’s arguable that Al Pacino was at the height of his powers in the ’70s and ’80s. He was routinely pumping out great performances, one after another, and Sidney Lumet’s Serpico — a true-crime tale of a police officer facing down his precinct’s corruption — is another dogged role for the actor. Watch this back-to-back with Dog Day Afternoon to see why many call Pacino one of the greatest actors of all-time.
