January is bringing some binge-able programs to Netflix, including new seasons of It’s Always Sunny, and Parks and Recreation. For those interested in docu-series, there’s several new episodes of Frozen Planet including a “Making of” documentary that complements the series. And then there’s Sharknado 3 — I’m not sure how to sell that movie. Anyway, here’s what you should be watching this January on Netflix streaming.

Training Day (1/4)
For Antoine Fuqua’s meditation on corruption and policing, Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke turned in career-defining performances. Washington, most notably, was handed the best actor Oscar for his part, and his monologue in the film’s third act is probably one of the most oft-repeated scenes from any movie in the past 15 years.
Chelsea Does (1/23)
Chelsea Handler was the queen of television during her run on the E! Network, and now she brings her edgy and wry humor to Netflix as part of a four-episode series that will see her tackle different cultures and topics in search of her own brand of truth. Chelsea has a contract with the streaming entity, so expect more Handler even after this mini-series sees its run end.
Constantine (1/1)
There are two types of people in the world: those who enjoyed the Constantine film adaptation of the comic series, and those who do not. I tend to side with the former, and find this film mountainously more enjoyable than the TV series which was cancelled in its first season. Plus, how can you not love a movie that features a weapon with a crucifix embedded into it?
