Starz already treated Patrick Stewart‘s fans to a short slice of Blunt Talk‘s second season with the first trailer in July. It featured many wonderful things, like a quick cut of celebrity DJ Moby getting spanked while dressed in his underwear. Yet anyone familiar with the first season knows that raunchy comedy is its main staple, and if the latest trailer for season two is any indication, that hasn’t changed a bit. Especially since viewers will finally get to see what all those pictures of Stewart donning drag last April were about.
Unfortunately, the second trailer gives no further indications of what this season’s plot will specifically entail — other than the fact that Walter Blunt’s (Stewart) news program is doing really, really well. At least that’s the case whenever Blunt’s producer and manager, Rosalie Winter (Jacki Weaver) isn’t beating the sh*t out of a prison inmate during an interview, her employees aren’t driving around like they’ve stolen something, or Blunt isn’t almost skipping over the day’s biggest stories in favor of “an app that helps with premature ejaculation.”
Blunt Talk, along with Moby receiving some good ol’ fashioned punishment, premieres Sunday, October 2 on Starz.
