The Third Season Of ‘Peaky Blinders’ Just Got A US Release Date On Netflix

Many are of the mind that right now, this very moment, we are living in a golden age of television. That isn’t just in the United States and on premium cable networks like HBO, either. We’re seeing stations like AMC and even the USA Network churn out incredible programming, which has pushed streaming services like Amazon, Hulu and Netflix to produce and bring some of the best international content to the digital airwaves. British programming has always had its niche with audiences in America, but it wasn’t always as accessible as it is now.

What better example than BBC’s Peaky Blinders? Peaky Blinders is a fictional historical crime drama that centers around a gang by the same name from the late 19th century in England. With a cast led by the ever-amazing Cillian Murphy and featuring heavy hitters like Tom Hardy, it’s been difficult to ignore, especially with two seasons already gracing our streaming boxes, tablets and phones. According to Deadline, the third season is set to begin airing on BBC Two on May 5th, but fans in the US won’t have to wait long as Netflix will be releasing all six episodes on May 31st.

The third season picks up on Cillian Murphy’s character, Tommy, on his wedding day and only gets more complicated from there. The gang leader now has to deal with a changing world post-World War I, including an international arms deal that his gang finds themselves in the middle of that sets the tone for the season. So go ahead and binge-watch Peaky Blinders on Netflix if you haven’t already, or do it again to refresh yourself, because that third season is coming and coming soon.
