FlipBoardOK 1) The Soup and Joel McHale are awesome, 2) I honestly have no idea who any of any of the reality stars are in this video for “We Ruined the World,” but 3) they all seem to have a decent sense of humor about themselves and their places in this world, and 4) this song is the worst thing I’ve heard since “The Best Christmas Song That Ever Existed,” only this song doesn’t give me a good feeling. You’ve never heard of/seen Ron Jeremy or watched the second season of Survivor? That said, those two only put my count at 4 (with Sanjaya and NY).
Those are the exact same 4 I recognized. If I remembered to DVR The Soup, I might know more, but this video made me realize how glad I am to be single and not be subjected to dealing with crap reality TV by any of my ex’s anymore.
Dustin how on earth can you watch The Soup but not know who these people are? Scratch that, I’ve read your SoA reviews. That’s totally possible.
I haven’t watched the soup since they put up a pic of (spoiler alert?) Rita dead in the tub the week the season 4 finale of Dexter aired without so much as a “spoiler alert”. It ruined the end of the best season of that show for me. All this to say this video isn’t a compelling case for me to go back to watching.
I’m pretty sure The Soup ruining a shitty show like Dexter for a bunch of people only made me respect it more.
Dexter has had some shit seasons for sure. Most of them are, actually. But season 4 was pretty great (Lithgow) and that ending put it over the top. Or it would have for me, if I hadn’t known it was coming.
