Carl’s Jr. Replaces Kate Upton And Ronda Rousey With ‘Rick And Morty’

Carl’s Jr. is best known for three things: experimental hamburgers dripping with grease and cheese, sometimes being called Hardee’s, and commercials with attractive women eating said experimental hamburgers dripping with grease and cheese. There’s Kate Upton, Heidi Klum, Katherine Webb, Charlotte McKinney, Samantha Hoopes, U.S. and Mexico volleyball players, and Ronda Rousey, who helped break sales records. Occasionally, Carl’s will shake things up by bringing in Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

And now, Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith. Things are gonna get squanched.

The ad could work as an episode: Morty’s in his room sleeping until Rick barges in with a megaphone. And he’s brought a gang of slobbering, gooey, oversized burgers — including Thickburger El Diablo, All-Natural Burger, Jalapeno Thickburger, and Tex-Mex Bacon Thickburger — with him. They look disgusting, but also kind of delicious, not unlike the entirety of the Carl’s Jr’s menu itself.

This is, unfortunately, the closest we’ll get to new Rick and Morty episodes until the Adult Swim series returns sometime in 2016. Until then, stay schwifty and don’t go to sleep. You never know when a giant burger will burst into your bedroom. Actually, that sounds pretty great.
