When we last left the sisters of Kappa Kappa Tau at the end of season one of Scream Queens, Chanel, Chanel #3, and Chanel #5 had all been sentenced to life in a mental institution after having been falsely accused of serial murder. In the second season, which apparently picks up a few years after the series of events of the first, the Chanels have somehow managed to break out of the insane asylum and are now in — wait for it — medical school.
As you can see in this promo for the upcoming season, the ladies are featured in sassy nurse uniforms, each with their bejeweled letter or number adhered to their nurse’s cap, and the tagline: “Putting the mad diva in M.D.”
Jamie Lee Curtis will be returning as Cathy Munsch, who coincidentally now runs the hospital the Chanels are working at, in addition to other familiar faces such as season one killer Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell (Chad Radwell!), Niecy Nash, and Cecily Strong, who will all be reprising their roles in some capacity. New faces John Stamos and Taylor Lautner have been tapped as doctors working in the hospital.
Scream Queens will be back for more ridiculous, campy fun Tuesday, September 20, on Fox.
