In casting news that will make you feel kind of bad for Selma Blair, but not really that bad, considering her last recurring TV role was starring in Charlie Sheen’s Anger Management before he fired her, Deadline reports that FX has just announced that Blair will be playing the role of Kris Jenner in Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson.

Jenner was a personal friend of Nicole Brown Simpson as well as the ex-wife of Simpson’s defense attorney, Robert Kardashian, who is set to be played by David Schwimmer. In addition to Schwimmer, Blair joins an already star-studded cast of John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, Cuba Gooding, Jr., as O.J. Simpson, Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark, and Connie Britton as Faye Resnick.

It’s worth noting that we still don’t know who will play Kato Kaelin, but I’ll just put my dreams out there that Jared Padalecki is probably available.
