I have heard the question asked, “In these troubled times where morals are eroding faster than Courtney Love’s internal organs, where is a child supposed to learn about important American values like chain smoking, martini swilling and secretary bumping?” Well, hypothetical asker of a question I came up with to start a blog post, I will answer your question with another question: “Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?”

That was a long way of saying that “Sesame Street” will be doing a parody of Mad Men and people are losing their cookies.

During a press tour for the show, “Sesame Street”’s VP of content Miranda Barry said:

“’Sesame Street’ has always been written on two levels. And the children don’t understand these parodies, but the adult does…. Think about the title ‘Mad Men’ and think about the emotional curriculum that might be linked to that.”

Ohhh, so the skit will be about crazy people! Maybe asylum inmates? Serial killers? Hate crime proponents? Stop me when you want to give me a job. I love the kids.
