Beer And Paul Rudd Bring America Together In Seth Rogen And Amy Schumer’s Super Bowl Ad

The Carolina Panthers won’t play (and probably defeat?) the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 until this Sunday, but we’ve already seen a number of commercials that will air during the big game. Ryan Reynolds stars in Multiplicity 2 for Hyundai; T.J. Miller fights with a talking orange for Shock Top; and OMG OMG OMG look at all those wiener dogs for Heinz.

That last one is tough to beat, but Seth Rogen and Amy Schumer may have done so with “The Bud Light Party: Super Bowl Commercial 2016.” It has four things everyone loves: beer, Paul Rudd, Independence Day references, and “caucus” dick jokes. Also, Seth Rogen and Amy Schumer. They’re cool, too.

According to the YouTube description:

America. They say we’re a nation divided. They say we disagree on everything. But they’re wrong. We agree on a lot. Like liberty. Justice. Three-day weekends. Funny t-shirts. Jeans. Free parking. Burritos. Sliding on hardwood floors in socks. Cat videos. And beer. Nothing brings America together like Bud Light. That’s why we formed the Bud Light Party. We are the fake political party America needs right now. A party for everyone. Because no matter where we all stand on the issues, we all sit on bar stools. America has seen the light. And there’s a Bud in front of it. (Via)

If that’s the fake political party we need right now, then Bill Pullman’s Thomas J. Whitmore is the fake president we demand.
