‘Sharknado 4’ Reveals A Brand New Poster And Roster Of Celebrity Cameos

Sharknado 4: Is This Still Happening?, err, I mean, Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens dropped a brand-new official poster on Wednesday, along with some teases of which celebrity, err, I mean, “celebrity” cameos we can expect to see get gobbled up by flying sharks this time around. The most important casting news, other than Gary Busey signing on as Tara Reid’s dad, is that Fox News darling Stacey Dash will be playing the mayor of Chicago, where the fourth installment will presumably be set.

Set five years after the events that transpired in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No, The 4th Awakens will pick back up with Fin (Ian Ziering) and April (Reid) who have been living “blissfully sharknado-free” until the phenomenon inexplicably occurs yet again. Other new additions, other than Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim, Cody Linley, Masiela Lusha and Cheryl Tiegs, who we’ve already mentioned, are said to include:

  • Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, as a chain-saw dealer
  • David Faustino, as a Las Vegas gambler
  • Dr. Drew Pinsky, as a pastor
  • Benjy Bronk (The Howard Stern Show), as a morning-show host
  • Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, as manager of the Shark World hotel (with MMA fighter Frank Mir as head of security and Corey Taylor of Slipknot as a security guard)
  • Lori Greiner (Shark Tank), as a home-shopping guru
  • Patti Stanger (Millionaire Matchmaker), as a reporter
  • Cynthia Bailey (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Robert Herjavec (Shark Tank), Kym Johnson (Dancing With the Stars), TV host Carrie Keagan, T’Keyah Crystal Keymah (In Living Color), and Gena Lee Nolin and Alexandra Paul (Baywatch) as rocket scientists and astrophysicists
  • And finally, Vince Neil, Wayne Newton, and Todd, Savannah and Grayson Chrisley of the USA Network reality series Chrisley Knows Best will be playing themselves

Someday David Faustino will get that Married… With Children spinoff off the ground. In the meantime, we sincerely hope he enjoys being shark food. Sharknado 4 premieres July 31 on Syfy.
