Saturday Night Live is now entering the homestretch for season 41 with its last couple of episodes. Next up to host is freshly-minted Academy Award-winner Brie Larson and perpetual Grammy magnet Alicia Keys. Bring on this week’s promo batch!
As is customary for SNL, there’s a collection of clips that have tumbled out promoting Saturday’s upcoming episode. Larson, who will be hosting the show for the first time, is paired up with pillar of SNL longevity Kenan Thompson in a series of spots where they make quite the delightful duo. It’s a bit like going on a friendly sushi date for three. Well, provided your friends like telling you who the musical guest in their life is.
In the clip, Larson and Thompson find time to compare notes on their previous award triumphs, discuss what to order at a sushi joint (always bring your “hamburger fork”), and express feelings regarding cheese. It’s a breezy low-impact way to enjoy these two charmers charming it up with much charm. No clues on if we’re getting a Room parody, though.
