On The Wire, “corner boys” were street-level drug dealers, selling their product until the 5-0 drives by. SNL took that idea, and gentrified it. Kenan Thompson, Kevin Hart, and Jay Pharaoh are living in Bushwick, Brooklyn, hanging out on the corner and discussing what they’ve been up to. Hint: it involves mayonnaise, gelato, and hanging out with the bitches (they’re dogs).
It’s unusual seeing Hart not talking a mile a minute, but he’s really good in a very funny sketch.
