I’m not entirely sure what we’re supposed to take away from the second promo teaser for the sixth season of Sons of Anarchy (which begins Tuesday September 10th). The first promo suggested that there would be a lot of infighting between the cast of Sons of Anarchy. This new teaser suggests that 1) the show will feature people riding their motorcycles, and 2) it could be the season where Jax says, “F*** my whole family.” After all, we know that Tara and Clay are going to prison, and that Gemma put Clay there. The fact that the building in the teaser features the explosion of those three characters says that maybe Jax chooses SAMCRO over family. OR, maybe it means that he’s going to bust his family out of prison. OR, more likely, it doesn’t mean anything at all; FX just wanted to blow up a building.
I’m cool with that.
We do know, from EW, is that the season six premiere will be “violent,” it will be “controversial,” that it’s not meant to be “sensational” but that it will likely be mistaken for it, it’s been in the works for three years, and that it will set the stage for the third act of the Sons of Anarchy morality play.
