Stephen Amell Says The First Promo Images For ‘Arrow’ Had A Very NSFW Problem Down Below

Recently, CBS blew up the internet with a first look at Melissa Benoist in costume for their upcoming adaptation of Supergirl. For a while now, it’s been the way of Warner Bros. Television (the producing studio) to release promo images of its actors in consume for comic book shows, a tradition dating all the way back to the early days of Stephen Amell’s Arrow wardrobe. But, according to Amell himself, things almost went very NSFW in the early days:

To be perfectly honest, it would be hilarious if this now gets worked into the show as some sort of meta joke for fans. Like maybe Roy is doing some modifications on his Arsenal costume and things… let’s say, go awry for him from the waist down. It would make for a very funny moment, indeed.
