‘Stranger Things’ Has Reportedly Topped ‘Daredevil’ And ‘Making A Murderer’ In Ratings For Netflix

If you haven’t watched yourself already, you may have heard — possibly from friends, coworkers, parents, siblings, aunt or uncle, cashier at the grocery store, etc., etc. — about a little series on Netflix called Stranger Things. (And if not, why haven’t you watched Stranger Things yet? Good grief. Stop reading this and go watch Stranger Things already.)

Suffice to say, the ’80s-themed sci-fi horror series has become the breakout hit of the summer, and according to the Netflix ratings startup SymphonyAM, the show is doing incredible numbers for the streaming service, beating out other offerings from the service like Daredevil, House of Cards, and even the pop-culture phenomenon Making a Murderer.

In fact, the only two series doing better than Stranger Things are Orange Is the New Black, the tent pole of Netflix original programming that came back with season four this summer, and Fuller House, which somewhat inexplicably tops the chart. Here’s the complete ratings list, thanks to Business Insider.

It should be noted that Netflix has always kept their ratings under tight wraps, and has disputed the data from SymphonyAM in the past, so maybe take these numbers with a grain of salt. Even if not 100 percent accurate, it probably gives a decent idea of where your favorite series ranks.
