‘The Daily Show’ Gives An *Exclusive* Look At The Trump Campaign’s Speech Writing Process

Now this sketch from The Daily Show owes a nod of the cap to Stephen Colbert and his interviews with Trump’s child nickname strategist. They technically deal in the same area, but Trevor Noah’s “exclusive” goes a bit further by going behind the scenes of the actual Trump campaign to find out that a child is the mind behind all those wonderful speeches we’ve seen from Trump this campaign.

Want to beat China and win so much you’re going to hate winning? This kid is who you can thank. Love it when Trump made fun of Marco Rubio and his water bottle? The kid stays in the campaign picture. Envious when Trump talks about grabbing women in the p*ssy? The kid had nothing to do with it and you should be ashamed. Why are you so focused on sex?

This kid is a winner and a menace all wrapped into one. You don’t know if you want to kiss him or tie him up into a sack before dumping him into a quarry. He’s practically a mini version of Trump and he needs his own team to keep him on message, much like the GOP candidate himself. This group doesn’t need to go on TV and make sure he watches to get their point across, though. They’re more like those parents you meet who just let their kids do whatever they want while watching the clock, praying that things speed up.

The only complaint I have would be that this didn’t come earlier in the election. Here we are, less than a week from Election Day, and we’re just now meeting the speechwriter. Seems foolish.
