Texas and its swashbuckling buffoon of a governor, Rick Perry — when not oppressing the reproductive rights of women — have apparently been going around running ads in other states trying to convince businesses in those states to relocate to Texas. One of the states Perry has been trying to lure jobs from is New York. The Daily Show‘s Lewis Black did not take kindly to this, so he countered with his own hilarious “F*ck you, Texas” ad.
“This is New York City, the city that never sleeps,” Black said in segment last night. “People come here from all over the world, for the freedom to live as they choose, for the variety of cultures, but most of all, for the fact that it’s not Texas…F*ck you, Texas.”
I could be wrong, but I think Lewis Black is messing with Texas. God bless him.
