The Directors Of ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ Will Return To ‘Community’ For Its Yahoo Premiere

Perhaps you guys remember Community. Little show, a bit of behind-the-scenes drama, a couple people on the Internet liked it a little bit? Got canceled by TV and picked up by a search engine? Yeah, that’s the one. The show’s upcoming sixth, exclusive-to-Yahoo season is on the way, and they’re bringing out some of the big guns right away: The Russo brothers — who have directed 33 episodes of the show between them, as well as this summer’s critical and commercial success Captain America: The Winter Soldier — are on-board for the premiere.

“We will be returning. We’re going to do the first episode [of Season 6] for those guys. We’re going to have a little fun with that episode. [Community executive producers] Dan Harmon and Chris McKenna are cooking up something very cool for us…” [IGN]

Now they just need to bring back Fast & Furious director Justin Lin for Paintball: Greendale Drift and they’ll be all set. I would pay good money to watch Joel McHale and Alison Brie screaming around the hallways of a community college on souped-up go-karts. Don’t act like you wouldn’t, either.
