Barry has spent a lot of time enjoying his speed, but during the last episode of The Flash, he gave it up in order to save a friend. So now, of course, he has to deal with the city’s metahuman villains without his speed. Fortunately, he just has to beat up an old guy!
The villain this week is Griffin Grey, a recent DC supervillain who ages the more he uses his powers. Unfortunately, his powers include super-strength, and Barry doesn’t really have anything to fight him with. Of course, Barry could inject himself with the super-speed drug that the team just happens to have lying around, but hey, we’ve got to build up to that. That’ll be at 8pm EST on the CW.
Meanwhile, over in the Marvel Universe:
Lincoln was quickly saved from any danger of becoming interesting last episode on Agents of SHIELD, when he was framed for being a traitor, only for it to turn out to be Daisy who was the one backstabbing everybody. Then she, uh, dropped the whole base on everyone’s heads. And now it looks like Ward, or at least Hive-as-Ward, is getting his wish to get Daisy back. By, uh, controlling her mind. Wow, you know, you think Ward can’t get any creepier and they find a new place for him to sink to. At this rate Ward might be eating puppies right out of the hands of the children who love them by the season finale. We’ll see how far it goes tonight at 9pm EST on ABC. Join us, won’t you?
