‘The Walking Dead’ Sets Up A Major Meeting With Its Preview For Its Midseason Premiere

If you’re still watching The Walking Dead, congratulations. You just made it through the first half of season seven and the story seems poised to give Rick and company a little hope against Negan and The Saviors. The start of this season was definitely the straw that broke several backs and then bashed them with a baseball bat, but now people are still involved and things might start moving along in the second half of the season.

Negan lost his beard, some more people died, and we were treated to an episode like the old ones we used to enjoy. I’m sure depression is just an epsiode away with this show, but the midseason finale was a nice change of pace. And with this preview clip that dropped during Talking Dead on Sunday Night, we’re about to see Rick meet up with Ezekiel and create a big ol’ anti-Negan partnership for the second part of the season.

Jesus has a long range walkie, Maggie has a steady hand on Hilltop, and it seems like the folks of Alexandria have some extra time to head to The Kingdom in the second half of season seven. And while I think Negan will be around for quite a while given the status of his comic counterpart and the fact that the character is entertaining, he might not be on top of the world for this entire season. And I think people that have stuck around need that. This guy did some horrible junk and people need to see him get a little beating.

Will it happen before the end of the season? We’ll have to wait and see.
