Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have finally sold out. The creators of the bat-shit weird Adult Swim comedies Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! are now in bed with BIG PIZZA, specifically Totino’s, the Butterfinger Bites of the pizza world. The commercial they made together is predictably, wonderfully weird, and probably the reason why someone’s going to get fired (Totino’s is owned by billion-dollar company General Mills).
I’m glad this ad exists, though I wish it had debuted during the Super Bowl (#HardRockJoeForHalftimeShow). Pizza Totino’s Boy is the break America needs between Beer Commercial #17 and Car Commercial #19.
