Golden Globes Supercut: Just The Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Parts (Plus More GIFs)

Earlier today Josh gathered the best GIFs of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the 2013 Golden Globes. Now we have an excellent supercut of just the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler parts of the Golden Globes. Flavorwire put this together, and what a fantastic time-saver it is. All awards ceremonies should just be ten minutes of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler being awesome. Take heed, Academy Awards producer.

I think my favorite joke of the night may have been when Amy Poehler said, “Meryl Streep is not here tonight. She has the flu — and I hear she’s amazing in it.”

So amazing. So fearless.

Here are a few of my other favorite lines, transcribed by Flavorwire:

Amy Poehler: “We have no intention of being edgy or offensive tonight because as Ricky Gervais found out the hard way, when you run afoul of the Hollywood Foreign Press, they make you host this show two more times.”

Amy Poehler: “I haven’t really been following the controversy over Zero Dark Thirty, but when it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron.”

Tina Fey: [regarding Anne Hathway’s performance in Les Miz] “I have not seen someone so totally alone and abandoned since you were on stage with James Franco at the Oscars.”

Burn.

Check out the whole highlight reel above. But first, a few very relevant GIFs to summarize what this video left out.

Adele high-fived Daniel Craig.

The subtitles do nothing.

I have no words.

Every year.

There. Between this post and Josh’s GIF roundup, we just saved you three boobless hours.
