Despite being named Jon Stewart’s successor at The Daily Show a few months ago, Trevor Noah is still a bit of a mystery to many Americans. Maybe this next thing will help: He’s Jerry Seinfeld’s latest guest on his web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Over the course of 20 minutes, the two discuss everything from cars to apartheid to Noah’s truly insane stand-up schedule. (Wake up every day at 6 p.m., do shows all over New York throughout the night starting at 7 p.m., go grocery shopping at 3 a.m., sleep through the day, then zip off to London to do shows there for a few days.) It gives you a little window into what you’ll be getting when he takes over, if that’s something you’re looking for.

He also explains how and where he found out he got the gig: In a phone call from his manager while he was driving around Dubai in the middle of the night. That’s a pretty solid story. Definitely better than, like, “I found out via text while I was buying bulk saltines at Costco” or something.
