UPROXX 20: Dan Levy Appreciates Someone Picking Him Up At The Airport

Dan Levy is an actor and comedian perhaps best known for his appearances on Chelsea Lately. You may have also seen him on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, @Midnight and The Office. Currently, Levy hosts Coming To The Stage, a six-episode original series from Comedy Dynamics designed to give a platform for up-and-coming comedians. As mentioned in a press release for the show: “The goal of the show is to introduce the comedic talent that people will be talking about tomorrow.”

Dan was nice enough to take a few minutes out of his busy schedule recently to answer a few questions from us.

1. You walk into a bar. What do you order from the bartender?

It depends. Is this a hip bar that serves cucumber foam?

2. Who’s your favorite person to follow on Twitter?

3. What’s currently waiting for you on your DVR/TiVO?

Game of Thrones. I can only follow the openings credits, BUT I need to watch it!

4. It’s your last meal — what are you going out with?

PIZZA! F*ck the carbs, we’re all gonna die! (In this scenario.)

5. What websites do you visit on a regular basis?

That aren’t porn?

6. What’s the most frequently played song on your mobile device?

I have a 2-year-old, so every morning at 6 a.m., I listen to the Frozen soundtrack.

7. The first face that comes to mind when you think “punchable?”

Elsa?

8. What’s the last thing you Googled?

How much money Frozen has made? Answer: Billions!

9. Dogs or cats?

C’mon. Dogs.

10. Best concert of your life was…?

Kris Kross. Not joking. It was electric, and they stopped the concert in the middle to sag their pants some more.

11. What book are you most likely to give as a gift?

The bible.

12. What’s the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?

Picked me up at the airport. (Even though he was an Uber driver.)

Daria.

14. You have an entire day to do whatever you want. What would you do?

Sleep.

15. What movie can you not resist watching if it’s on?

Goodfellas. I can’t not watch that movie, no matter what time it is.

17. Where did you eat the best meal of your life?

The airport.

Home Alone. It’s been a while. I have two kids.

19. Who was your first celebrity crush?

D.J. from Roseanne. I mean, Full House.

20. What would you cook if Nic Cage was coming to your house for dinner?

I don’t think I would invite him over, so I’d be surprised he was there and just offer him almonds.
