VH1 Has Picked Up A Dating Show Where Everyone’s Naked

VH1 has ordered 10 episodes of a new reality dating show called Naked Dating, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It’s like a dating show, but the twist is that the contestants are naked! Get it?! I think that in the Idiocracy-esque transformation of “Fuddruckers” to “Buttf*ckers,” we’re in the equivalent of getting that much closer to having a dating show just called Live F*cking.

Each episode will feature a man and a woman as they each date two different — and naked — suitors. The series will explore the art of romance — free of preconceived notions, stereotypes and, yes, clothing. At the end of every hourlong episode, the two romance-seekers analyze what they’ve learned from their dates — and themselves — before deciding whether to move forward with their potential love matches.

A yet-to-be-named host will oversee the series, which will be filmed in a remote exotic locale. The focus will be on examining the honest self and the surprising results that come with that. VH1 says the series will be edited “according to network standards.”

Ahhhh, yes. The prestigious “VH1 network standards.” This is a network that at one point had its entire groundwork of programming built on a Flavor Flav dating show franchise, and at one point featured a contestant pooping on the stairs. And that was almost 10 years ago!
