Video Compilation: Cooking Show Money Shots

Generally speaking, Slate is a moronically contrarian website that dresses up stupid arguments with graduate-student prose (see: pie is un-American; roller blades are back in style). But occasionally they’re responsible for something that doesn’t make me want to set their writing staff on fire, and the video below is one such example. It’s a collection of cooking show “money shots” — that is, the moment when the food gets tasted, not when Giada de Laurentiis gets a carton of heavy whipping cream dumped on her face and cleavage. Although that’s a great idea for another video.
