Watch A Woman Throw Eggs At Simon Cowell On ‘Britain’s Got Talent’

I’m kind of surprised that with all of the carbon copy talent shows that have been on TV for the last decade or so, there haven’t been more incidents of pissed off losers trying to physically attack a professional a-hole like Simon Cowell. Heck, maybe they do and I just don’t see it because I don’t watch The X-Factor, American Idol or Britain’s Got Talent because the only talent show that matters to me is The Ultimate Fighter. GRRRRR, ARMBAR YOUR DREAMS!

But as the Hungarian shadow theater troupe Attraction was performing after being declared the winner of Britain’s Got Talent, according to The Hollywood Reporter, 30-year old Natalie Holt took her shot at physically harming Cowell and his co-judges, Amanda Holden and David Walliams. Holt was part of the backup vocals group, which is how she had access to the stage, and then she whipped out a carton of eggs and started chucking them at the judges, presumably because her own music group wasn’t picked to be in the finals.

Holt issued an apology even after the show’s producers decided not to press charges, and it’s important to note that she’s sorry about interrupting the performance but apparently not about throwing eggs at people.

“I want to apologize to [opera-singing brothers] Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do.”

And credit to the brothers for just singing right through it. Although it would have been kind of funny if one of them bopped her over the head with his mic, causing her to fall on her eggs. I’m a sucker for physical comedy.
