FX will debut it’s highly anticipated mini-series partially based on the Coen Brothers film Fargo this month. The first seven minutes — as with any competent opening of a TV Show, movie, or book – sets up the tone of the entire series. You can tell the similarities, but you can also tell that it’s its own thing. I recently watched Fargo for the first time last year, so it’s still fresh in my memory. I’m pretty pumped and expect to watch this live every week.
Fargo stars Martin Freeman, Allison Tolman, Billy Bob Thornton, Colin Hanks, and Bob Odenkirk, and debuts Tuesday, April 15 at 10 p.m. on FX.
