Hey, Pamela Anderson! How have you been? Long time, no see. Whatcha been up to? The last project of yours I remember was Stripperella. What’s that? Yeah, it was terrible. Oh yeah, I forgot about your Comedy Central Roast. And that time you were on Dancing with the Stars. Ah, yes, Borat, of course. No, I didn’t realize you were on Big Brother in the U.K…or RuPaul’s Drag Race…or Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars…or Superhero Movie. Huh, you also starred in a movie with Chris Kattan? I don’t remember what it’s called, either. But yeah, totally, I’m sure it’s great. Anything else? Bikinis, you say? Bikini commercial, you say? Banned bikini commercial, you say? Do tell.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), a watchdog group in Great Britain, banned the former “Baywatch” star’s commercial from the air after four viewers complained of offensive content.

According to the ASA report, Dreamscape Networks “did not believe the ad objectified women, as it was clear the exaggerated fantasy sequence was limited to Adam’s imagination…They believed the majority of viewers would find the ad fanciful and humorous.”

“The ASA understood that the ad was intended as a parody of a mundane business meeting and was intended to be humorous and light-hearted,” the report states. “Although the fantasy scene, which we considered was sexually suggestive, was limited to Adam’s imagination, we considered it gave the impression that he viewed his female colleagues as sexual objects to be lusted after.” (Via)

Come again? I miss your pre-plastic surgery look, too.

Talk to you later, Pam Anderson. *watches her slowly walk into the ocean, she doesn’t reappear*
