Weekend Preview: ‘Grease: Live,’ The SAG Awards, And The 2016 Pro Bowl

Grease: Live (FOX, Sunday 7:00 p.m.) — Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit, and Vanessa Hudgens go together like ramma lamma lamma ka dinga da dinga dong. The trio stars in a live adaptation of the classic American musical.

Vice (HBO, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Vice is back with a special report from the front lines of the fight against ISIS.

The Vampire Diaries (The CW, Friday 8:00 p.m.) — We’re not sure of the exact square footage, but we’d venture to guess that Damon’s feeling a little cramped now that he’s trapped in the Phoenix stone.

Grimm (NBC, Friday 9:00 p.m.) — Someone get Muse on the horn because there’s an uprising in the works as Monroe and Rosalee turn to the Wesen Council for much needed wisdom.

The Originals (The CW, Friday 9:00 p.m.) — Klaus vows to avenge Cami’s death and Vincent reluctantly uses magic, as if anyone could ever reluctantly use magic.

Childrens Hospital (Cartoon Network, Friday, 11:00 p.m.) — Jon Hamm appears. Just sold you in three words, didn’t we?

UFC Fight Night (FOX, Saturday 8:00 p.m.) — Anthony Johnson vs. Ryan Bader headline in a UFC light heavyweight bout.

SAG Awards (TBS and TNT, Saturday 8:00 p.m.) —

NFL Pro Bowl (ESPN, Sunday 7:00 p.m.) — The 2016 Pro Bowl fills the football-sized void in your heart as you prep to watch Cam Newton and Peyton Manning square off in the Super Bowl next week.

Madam Secretary (CBS, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Family squabbles take over in the wake of Henry’s father’s passing while Russell plays keep away with some vital intelligence in the State department.

American Ninja Warrior (NBC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Three five-member teams representing the U.S. of A., Japan, and Europe battle it out in this three-hour special presentation. Also, a bunch of people eat it, probably.
