Happy Endings (ABC, Friday 8 p.m.) — Say goodbye to what is still one of the best sitcoms on television tonight, for what will likely be the last episodes of Happy Endings we will ever see. I’m going to miss those guys. On the plus side, maybe Damon Wayans, Jr. will return to New Girl. Tonight’s finale, like the last two, will be a wedding episode, but it will be the wedding of Jane and Alex’s sister, who we will meet for the first time.

Maron (IFC, Friday 10 p.m.) — Marc Maron’s new reality show kicks off tonight. In the episode, Maron decides to get revenge on a mean Twitter user, which sounds about right.

Doctor Who (BBC America, Saturday 8 p.m.) — We don’t cover Who heavily on UPROXX because we want to avoid wedgies, but if you’re interested, there’s a great theory on Clara’s identity here, and a think piece on the declining quality of the Moffat years here.

Black Orphan (BBC America, Saturday 9 p.m.) — The freshman series, which started out so strong, is wearing on me a bit, but I’m still happy to hear that it’s been renewed for a second season.

The Good Wife and Vikings have ended their runs, so if you were watching one or both of those, your Sundays just got a little easier on your DVRS (and sleep schedules).

Game of Thrones (HBO, Sunday 9 p.m.)– Despite the proliferation of book spoilers (and seriously, cut it out), I’ve managed to avoid most of them for the third season, except one: The 9th episode is going to be spectacular enough to shut down our nervous systems. This week brings us number six, but we still have a month to wait because Game of Thrones was kind enough to take Memorial Day Sunday off so we could spend it with Arrested Development.

Mad Men — (AMC, Sunday 10 p.m.) — Mad Men will do us no such favors. In fact, according to Wikipedia, the season finale will air on Memorial Day Sunday. That’s cruel. In either respect, check back next week for recaps and on Tuesday, I’m going to attempt to get deep with the show.

Veep — (HBO, Sunday 10 p.m.) — The title of this week’s episode is “The Vic Allen Dinner.” According to Wikipedia, Vic Allen is Vic Allen is a British academic and Emeritus Professor at the University of Leeds who was revealed to have been an “agent of influence” for the East German Stasi secret police. I have no idea what that means for this week’s episode.
